Data Modelling and Report Designing for Process Performance Reporting in Telecom

Scope :The Process Performance Reports required for the Intelligent VPN product.
Process Performance Reporting covers the following areas :


Inventory
Planned Works
Service Delivery
Service Assurance

Role and Responsibilities :


§Business Analysis of service assurance area for VPN process performance reporting.
§Participate in VPN report design and report field identification.
§Development of mock up reports or prototype reports to reflect the business requirement.
§Build end to end Data Dictionary for VPN reports which include the report field description, data type and size, LOVs,sample values, business rules, comments, end to end data flow through various systems.
§Develop the report provisioning document and reporting architecture for VPN reports.
§Resolve the end to end data issues, report design issues, end to end test issues, deployment issues with the help of data dictionary.
§Participate in regular calls to resolve issues related to VPN reports.

§Develop the end to end data mapping document for VPN UK Service Provisioning requirement.
§Contribute in developing the low level technical design for Customer SLA and Service option.
§Contribute in developing the end to end data mapping document for Supplier SLA data requirement for reporting.
§Developed the end to end data mapping document for testers to perform the end to end testing across the VPN systems.
§Resolving the end to end data issues in reporting through end to end component teams in daily calls.
§Provide comments and notes on user stories document.


TicketView Summary
The Ticket View report includes all trouble tickets based upon the ticket parameters selected.This report can be run on demand for the latest tickets based on the parameter values they have entered for example Ticket Status, Ticket Priority, Ticket Range, Ticket Created Date Range,Site ID etc.


TicketView Detail
The Ticket Deatil report displays the detailed information about the Ticket selected in Ticket View Report.

Time To Repair
The Time to Repair and Restore Service Report show network site downtime for each out of service ticket , site running on backup ticket and impacted ticket (degraded service ticket).It provides the business calculation for Time to Repair(TTR) and Time to Restore Service(TTRS). It is the basis for the Site Availability calculations.

The Site Availability Report shows the actual Monthly Site Availability,

PEW Schedule
The Network Maintenance Report provides a listing of all the Service Provider required maintenance activities. The report contains the information for both planned and executed maintenance.

PEW - Customer affected sites
This report provides the information about the Customers affected due to Planned Works maintennace.

VPN Inventory
This Report shows all ports and access speed for a customer network. The information is derived from the BT inventory systems.
